Activision has plans to debut official Call of Duty: WWII Zombies gameplay at San Diego Comic-Con this month, but it appears as though the trailer and gameplay footage has leaked online early.
It appears as though the Zombies mode in Call of Duty: WWII will be titled “Army of the Dead.” The mode seems to introduce a bunch of new enemy types to the zombies mode.
The official description for Call of Duty: WWII’s Zombies Mode reads:
“Call of Duty: WWII’s take on Zombies is looks to be much darker and moodier than what you’re used to from the series — no grindhouse silliness here. We’re treated us to numerous gruesome images of some sort of Nazi bunker, accompanied by voiceover by a mysterious mad scientist type, who claims to have created a zombie “Fourth Reich.” And then we see the zombies themselves, and boy are they gross – they truly look like shambling piles of rotting flesh. We also get hints of a larger, club wielding creature that will likely be some sort of boss. Finally, we get a title for Sledgehammer’s new take on Zombies – Army of the Dead. Are you ready for a true Call of Duty survival horror experience? Because it seems like that’s what we’re getting.”
The leaked videos can be found below. If they are no longer working it’s likely because Activision pulled the plug on them.
The Call of Duty: WWII Zombies will be officially unveiled at Comic-Con on July 20 at 11:45am PT. The panel will be an hour long, so expect plenty of additional information outside the trailer. Call of Duty: WWII will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 3rd, 2017.
